We are looking for safety engineers with various levels of experience through to Senior Safety Consultants to join a dynamic team offering you the chance to utilise your technical leadership skills to make a contribution to a number of safety projects.

Successful candidates will have a proven track record in one or more of the following industries - Nuclear, Defence, Aeronautical, Rail, Automotive, Oil and Gas or Energy, ideally with previous experience of working in a consultancy environment. You will provide project management and technical contribution to safety case development of major projects undertaken by the safety team.

To succeed as Safety Consultant you should have knowledge of the following:

• ARP 4761
• MAA Regulatory Publications
• EASA Certification Standards (and CS 25-1309 in particular)

You should also be conversant in the conduct of most of the following disciplines; Safety Management System Development and Safety Management planning; Safety Case Development; Independent Safety Audit; HAZOP/SWIFT; Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)/Event Tree Analysis (ETA); Failure Modes and Effects (Criticality) Analysis (FMECA); and/ or Goal Structuring Notation (GSN).

A good degree in a related field is necessary and ideally you will have previous experience of working in a consultancy environment (within the defence, nuclear, rail or energy sectors). The more senior roles will also require experience of leading and directing safety consultancy projects and tenders.

This role requires SC Clearance so you must be either a British Citizen who has been living in the UK for the last 3 years minimum or of another nationality who has been living in the UK continuously for the last 5 years minimum.
